This car was built as a memorial to George Barris's wife Shirley. It was built by Ron and Bill Dugan and took four years to complete. It has a 350 Chevy engine and turbo 350 transmission.

1948 STUDEBAKER, THE MODERN GRECIAN BY GEORGE BARRIS, AMERICA ON WHEELS MUSEUM, ALLENTOWN, PA 2010

This Barris custom was based on a 1948 Studebaker. It is considered by some to be one of the most radical Barris Kustom four door sedans. It was recently found in a barn in this condition. Originally it was painted in a wild lemon pearl with green pearl side spears.
